Robert Noone Legal Services - Law Practice

At Robert Noone Legal Services, we practice in several areas of law that serve injured persons, as well as those with domestic matters:
[ workers compensation | personal injury | adoption | domestic law | kid law ]

WORKERS COMPENSATION: If you or a family member has been injured "in the course of and resulting" from your job, then you have definite rights to wage replacement benefits, medical benefits and even a disability rating if your injury causes permanent problems. Since 1983, Robert Noone has handled thousands of such cases for workers ONLY (we do NOT represent businesses) when they are faced with bodily injury, coal dust exposure, hearing loss, or death caused by the work place. He previously has served as Chair of the Workers Compensation Committee of the WV State Bar and has lectured on compensation topics. Similar to workers compensation, we also assist those seeking SOCIAL SECURITY DISABILITY because they can no longer work.

PERSONAL INJURY: We have assisted persons injured in auto accidents, by medical malpractice, defective products, or whose loved one suffered a wrongful death. It costs you nothing to talk with use about your case. . Of counsel to Robert Noone Legal Services is Greg Chiartas and Bruce Freeman, both experienced trial attorneys in personal injury cases. Free initial consultation. Attorney fees are only paid if we are successful

ADOPTION: We regularly assist couples, single persons, as well as grandparents, in adopting a child they love. Our fees are very competitive. We offer services for both uncontested and contested adoptions.

DOMESTIC LAW: Our family law attorney, L. Donna Pratt (formerly attorney with the Child Support Enforcement division of the WV Child Advocate Office) offers services in the areas of:

  • Divorce & Separation
  • Child Custody
  • Child Support Enforcement (or Modification of Child Support)
  • Property Distribution
  • Separation Agreements
  • KID LAW: We have represented hundreds (if not thousands) of persons under the age of 18 in matters of juvenile delinquency, juvenile felonies, as well as when they are victims of abuse and neglect by their care givers. Robert Noone Legal Services attorneys often serve as Guardian ad Litem for children in the Circuit Court, Family Law Court, and in special circumstances. Robert Noone is on the WV Supreme Court of Appeals Improvement Project (for Abuse/Neglect Cases) and a committee member. Formerly he served on the WV Juvenile Justice Committee.
